What do Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley have in common?

Their sidemen played on Griselda's album Making a Fool of Myself  in 2018.

Eclectic, engaging, charming, haunting, innovative, lovely, and romantic are all words that describe this remarkable recording project.

Musical Influences

"My musical influences are pretty eclectic as I love music from all genres.

Brooks & Dunn's 'Play Something Country'  fires me up. I sing along to Boney M when I'm driving. I like to wind down to a mixture of jazz and rock, often Miles Davis or The Eagles.

A traditional Irish music session sets my heart beating, a Welsh male voice choir will make me melt, and the skirl of a poverty of Scottish bagpipers playing 'Highland Cathedral' is pure magic."

Musical Background

Originally trained as a classical soprano at Birkbeck Opera, University of London, with Mary Hill, Griselda also studies singing with Sheila McGrow in London, and Owen Gilhooley in Limerick.
